Role Summary:

The VP Product, Business Services, is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the business services products within our organization. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive growth, optimize operational efficiency, and ensure the delivery of superior customer service. This product portfolio is unique as we have products that are in different stages of finding product market fit

Scope:

Business services are products and/or services Purpose offers to help a business owner scale their business profitably.

  • Marketing as a service
  • Lending
  • M&A
  • Implementing Advisor Operations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic vision and road-map for business services across the Purpose ecosystem and partner with other product leaders to deepen relationships with our customers by solving their most complex problems.
  • Act as the company’s quarterback in the target product scope to build a sustainable and profitable product or service by delivering a valuable client experience and competitive positioning.
  • Be the voice of the customer. Partnering with sales and marketing teams to develop the messaging, key features and be part of the sales process to grow our business.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for product and process enhancements that will drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, marketing and finance, to develop and launch new products and improve existing offerings to meet customer needs.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on product performance, KPIs, OKRs to key stakeholders including senior management.
  • Prioritize roadmap and backlog by collaborating with cross functional teams in order to achieve success.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic leadership positions.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams, to drive change in how we work.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Dynamic communicator with strong interpersonal skills, and have the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in strategic planning, forecasting, and surpassing budget expectations.
