About the job:
Join a dynamic and dedicated team of caring professionals as an autonomous professional who has expertise in typical development and disorders of communication/swallowing as well as assessment and intervention in these areas. The Speech-Language Pathologist will work directly with clients and/or with their caregivers or other persons who regularly interact with these people for the purpose of creating environments that promote optimal communication and swallowing for adults requiring this care.
Casual Employment Opportunities:
Embrace flexibility with casual day shift positions, offering a range from zero to 37.5 hours per week. Joining us in a casual role opens doors to internally posted openings, providing the opportunity to apply for permanent or temporary part-time or full-time positions. Interior Health values career growth and many success stories begin with casual on-call positions, evolving into a rewarding, long-term career. Days of work: Monday to Friday; 08:00 to 16:00.

Qualfications
- Full practicing registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (CHCPBC).
- One year’s clinical experience with adults in a hospital setting and/or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. New grads are also welcome to apply.
- Valid Driver’s license required.
