This candidate will be working in the system to 'clean up' purchase orders. They will be required to go into the system, make sure that the orders align with their actual needs, cancel orders that don't or place orders to make up for it. They will also be holding suppliers accountable to KPIs to make sure orders are received on time, based on their planning. They will be working with inventory strategies and will be reviewing 500 pieces daily. They will follow up with the buyers to understand demand, if the Reqs they receive are up to date and if there are any changes. They will assure that all parameters in their strategies are up to date. They will be working in SAP with parameters - price, quantity, lead times to ensure everything is up to date. They are working with min/max inventory material – what are the needs of the operations that they have the best strategy in place and understand supplier requirements. They are constantly reviewing planning strategy to ensure that all inventory is good; if too low or high they will need to investigate it. Planning all material of all pieces of different commodities such as hardware, or raw material. They review orders and make sure to come up with strategic inventory.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of planning experience
- Experience forecasting, managing inventory or purchasing
- Strong bilingual communication skills in French and English
- ERP Experience
- Excel (VLOOKUP and pivot tables)
