Position Overview:

The Junior Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function. This role will involve analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a desire to learn and grow within the finance field.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results to budgeted figures.
  • Help maintain and improve financial models and databases.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analyses as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial modeling is a plus.
  • Familiarity with financial software and databases (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.
