About the position

Financial Manager responsible of the planning and analysis of the Canada business unit, for Zara and Massimo Dutti, including the online brands: Zara Home, Bershka and Stradivarius. This position reports directly to the Country General Manager, the Financial Director and the Headquarters Control Department.

• Development of annual budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads and senior management to develop accurate and achievable financial goals.

• Analysis of gaps between achievements and the approved budget.

• Monthly report of all activities to the Country General Manager, the Financial Director and the Headquarters Control Department (main KPIs: sales, hours worked, productivity, P&L, investments, etc.).

• Report of monthly forecasts to Headquarters.

• Participation in feasibility studies of events developed by the company (Openings, moves and renovations).

• Implementation of expenditure control plans. Proactivity and leadership in terms of proposals in order to optimize activities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the financial impact of new initiatives.

• Preparation of a variety of reports, studies, analyzes and related information to support the decision-making process.

• Provide a financial analysis and decision support to senior management, as needed.

Profile Required

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field; MBA or CPA designation preferred. The candidate must have a solid knowledge of local accounting, tax and legislative practices.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an external audit firm + 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a multinational environment.

• High level of Excel skills.

• Experience with SAP, BPC and Power BI will be an asset.

• Strong organizational and planning skills.

• Strong command of financial modeling, budgeting and forecasting techniques.

• Strong analytical skills and good business sense with initiative and ability to self-learn.

• Excellent attention to detail and excellent management techniques with ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and effectively communicate information to departments and the leadership team.

• Bilingual in French and English, Spanish will be considered an asset.

Le Gestionnaire Financier est responsable de la planification et de l'analyse de l'unité commerciale du Canada, pour Zara et Massimo Dutti, y compris les marques en ligne : Zara Home, Bershka et Stradivarius. Le Gestionnaire est sous la supervision du Directeur Général du pays, du directeur financier et du service de contrôle du siège social.

• de processus annuels de budgétisation et de prévision, en étroite collaboration avec les chefs de département et la haute direction pour développer des objectifs financiers précis et réalisables.
• des écarts entre les réalisés et le budget approuvé.
• mensuel de toutes les activités au Directeur Général du Pays, au Directeur Financier et au Département Contrôle du Siège (principaux KPI : ventes, heures travaillées, productivité, P&L, investissements…).
• des prévisions mensuelles au Siège.
• aux études de faisabilité des événements développés par l'entreprise (Ouvertures, déménagements et rénovations).
• en œuvre des plans de contrôle des dépenses. Proactivité et leadership en matière de propositions afin d'optimiser les activités.
• avec des équipes interfonctionnelles pour évaluer l'impact financier des nouvelles initiatives.
• d'une variété de rapports, d'études, d'analyses et d'informations connexes pour soutenir le processus de prise de décision.
• une analyse financière ponctuelle et une aide à la décision à la haute direction, selon les besoins.

Profile Requis

• en Finance, Comptabilité ou dans un domaine connexe; Titre MBA ou CPA préféré. Le candidat doit avoir une solide connaissance des pratiques comptables, fiscales et législatives locales.
• de 3 ans d'expérience dans un cabinet d'audit externe + 4 ans d'expérience en planification et analyse financières, de préférence dans un environnement multinational.
• niveau de compétences Excel.
• expérience avec SAP, BPC et Power BI sera un atout.
• compétences organisationnelles et de planification.
• maîtrise des techniques de modélisation financière, de budgétisation et de prévision.
• compétences analytiques et bon sens des affaires avec initiative et capacité d'auto-apprentissage.
• attention aux détails et excellentes techniques de gestion avec capacité à prioriser les tâches dans un environnement en évolution rapide.
• compétences analytiques avec la capacité d'interpréter des données financières complexes et de communiquer efficacement des informations aux départements et à l'équipe de direction.
• en français et anglais, l'espagnol sera considéré un atout.
