About The Company

Our client, an insurance defence mid-size firm, located in Toronto, is looking for a lawyer who will maintain carriage of tort and accident benefit files and work as a junior lawyer on more complex matters.


About The Role

  1. Follow protocols regarding timely reporting to clients
  2. Review productions or clerks' summaries of productions and report on these
  3. Attend Examinations for Discovery, Mediations, Licence Appeal Tribunal Proceedings, and other litigation events

What You Bring

  1. 1 to 3 years of experience at either a plaintiff or defence firm, exclusive of articling experience.
  2. Must be able to work well independently with little supervision as well as see the benefits of being part of a team
  3. Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills
  4. Ability to meet deadlines
  5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  6. Critical thinking and analysis
  7. Show discretion and good judgment in dealing with sensitive and confidential situations
