Job Description:
The Senior Specialist Surgical Inpatient & Trauma Program is a key leader in Saskatchewan Health Care, partnering with system leaders to support a provincial trauma program that meets national benchmarks for Tertiary Trauma Care. This position reports directly to the Director of Surgical Inpatient, Trauma & Therapies in Regina and is responsible for the processes that support timely access to Tertiary Trauma Care in Southern Saskatchewan. This position has responsibility and oversight on the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the trauma program in all administrative and clinical aspects. Ensuring the delivery of quality patient care; overseeing and reporting performance metrics for the trauma programs and leading/advising on program direction. The senior specialist demonstrates strong leadership skills, working cross-functionally within the portfolio and across the organization to drive standardization in the delivery of trauma care provincially.

Experience:
- 5 years' clinical experience in Emergency, Critical Care, or Trauma Care
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Licenses:
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
Other Education and Training:
- Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
- Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Undergraduate degree in a health-related field
