We seek a skilled and detail-oriented SEO Specialist to join our client's dynamic digital marketing team. As an SEO Specialist, you will be crucial in driving organic traffic to our specific categories and improving our online visibility. You will be responsible for implementing and managing SEO strategies that align with business objectives and enhance our brand's digital presence while supporting other SEO Specialists.
Responsibilities:
- Leads SEO analyses, monitors key business metrics, including Traffic, Orders, Revenue, and Bounce Rate, and identifies opportunities to elevate business performance from SEO.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-impact keywords for assigned product categories.
- Ensure consistent keyword use throughout product and category pages. Optimize metadata to improve search engine rankings.
- Work closely with digital experience, marketing, and e-commerce teams to drive effective SEO and content strategies that meet business objectives.
- Identify and resolve technical SEO issues such as broken links, canonical issues, duplicate content, and indexing errors.
- Create and enforce SEO content standards and guidelines to ensure consistency in product information, meta descriptions, and on-page optimization.
- Track and analyze key SEO metrics, including organic traffic, keyword rankings, and CTRs. Generate regular reports on SEO performance and provide actionable insights.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in SEO, preferably in an e-commerce or retail setting.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles including on-page and basic technical SEO.
- Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, BrightEdge, Botify or similar tools.
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A passion for digital marketing and a desire to stay updated on industry trends.
Hybrid Work: 3 days in office, Mississauga (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday)
Working Hours: 37.50 hours per week
