About the Role - The successful candidate will play a key role facilitating company’s cloud and digital transformation journey. In this role, you will be responsible for providing hands-on technical and operational support for various application integrations and databases and play a key role in helping drive the development of IT architecture framework and governance.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on operational support and maintenance of various ETL, System, and API integrations built using Azure DevOps, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Integration Services and Logic Apps.
- Support, troubleshoot and analyze business systems, applications and other databases, to resolve complex systems, data management, communication, and interoperating problems.
- Collaborate with various teams to help develop the IT architecture framework and maturity plan.
- Lead the IT architecture and solution design governance and implementation.
- Design and maintain IT architecture artifacts such as architectural designs, application inventory, application lifecycle roadmaps, and architecture standards.
- Lead the Azure and AWS cloud and network architecture solution design of company’s infrastructure, network and 3rd party systems for Digital, ERP, Business Intelligence, and Reporting platforms.
- Contribute to the creation of a best-in-class Cloud roadmap, and strategies for enterprise adoption.
- As needed, provide senior technical support as required and respond in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Industry accredited certification in IT architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Archimate, Zackman Framework, or equivalent.
- Microsoft Certifications like Azure Solution Architect Expert, Data Engineer, and DevOps is an asset.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of technology experience, and strong competency in the following areas:
- Strong hands-on experience in Azure DevOps, Azure Data Factory, Azure Integration Services, Logic Apps, GitHub.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL Servers and Microsoft tools such as SSIS, SSAS and SSRS.
- Technical experience in the management and maintenance of data warehouse environments and ETL processes.
