Le rôle repose fortement sur les outils d'automatisation pour la gestion des logiciels et la conformité à la sécurité. Le rôle : Ingénieur Unix

Responsabilités

Concevoir, mettre en œuvre et maintenir l'infrastructure du serveur pour assurer une performance optimale, une évolutivité et une sécurité.

Réaliser des audits réguliers du système et mettre en œuvre des améliorations pour accroître l'efficacité et la fiabilité.

Développer et mettre en œuvre des processus et des procédures qui respectent les normes de sécurité et de conformité d'Aegon.

Exigences

Vous êtes

  • Baccalauréat en informatique, technologie de l'information ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • Expérience en RedHat Linux.
  • Expérience en automatisation avec Ansible ou Tanium.
  • Connaissance des langages de script tels que Shell, Perl ou Python.
  • Expérience avérée de gestion des correctifs Linux en utilisant un serveur Satellite, ou similaire.
  • Expérience en tant qu'ingénieur Unix, avec une profonde compréhension des systèmes d'exploitation basés sur Unix, y compris mais sans s'y limiter, Linux et AIX.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication, à la fois écrite et verbale.
  • Situé à Montréal pour un modèle de travail hybride

Our client a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Senior Unix Engineer to join one of the three Server Team workstreams; Content, Compliance, or Availability. The role relies heavily on automation tooling for software management and security compliance. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong experience and initiative in broadening and enhancing these capabilities.

  • Design, implement, and maintain Server infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security

Requirements:

You are

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience working with redhat Linux
  • Experience of Automation using Ansible, Tanium, or similar
  • Knowledge of Scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, or Python
  • Proven experience of managing Linux patching using Satellite server, or similar
  • Experience as a Unix engineer, with a deep understanding of Unix-based operating systems, including but not limited to Linux and AIX
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
