Donna Cona Inc. is currently seeking a Junior Program Manager, for one of our key clients to start August until February 2025.
Candidate MUST have the following:
- Minimum one (1) to four (4) years as a Junior Program Manager in an I.T. environment;
- Self-motivated, organized, with ability to multi-task in an environment of ever-changing processes and priorities;
- Attention to details, ability to analyze and evaluate information and render effective decisions or solve problems;
- Understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful project management including demonstrated experience applying flexible delivery methodologies such as Agile Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall and Hybrid delivery approaches;
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal), build consensus and promote the exchange of information among stakeholders;
- Ability to translate complex technical subject matter in business terms for executive audiences, succinctly and professionally;
- Ability to handle ambiguity in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent tasks and changing priorities;
- Possessing strong entrepreneurial skills with a bias to delivering business outcomes, forging strong business partnerships, effectively managing risk, managing scope change as an opportunity to deliver greater value and making value-oriented decisions;
- Leveraging excellent financial management skills including capital acquisitions;
- Demonstrating experience in risk assessment and management techniques;
- Managing medium to high complexity projects that require effective change management across various Application and Technology portfolios;
- Performing resource planning and performance management;
- Demonstrating experience with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate), Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint. Clarity; and
- Ability to work in a virtual team environment, facilitating and contributing to work across geographies and across other functional teams.
Candidate should have the following demonstrated experience:
- Demonstrating business and technical acumen to ensure deliverables and expected outcomes align with the Business Case;
- Working closely with the project sponsor and delivery leader to develop the business case and project charter, including defining the project scope, objectives, approach, measures of success, stakeholder engagement and communication plan;
- Developing integrated project plans demonstrating strong financial and project acumen (including cost estimates, budget, resourcing requirements), applying appropriate estimation models, and refining and managing performance against them as well as customizing project planning methods to suit the project;
- Managing project budgets and costs, and providing estimates and forecasts, including competent analysis of capitalization, amortization, and expense management;
- Engaging and collaborating with governance stakeholders to ensure compliance of end-product towards corporate risk profile, standards and organizational governance processes;
- Performing risk planning and analysis (qualitative and quantitative), including risk identification and risk response planning;
- Executing, tracking and monitoring progress to plan and communicating the appropriate project information to all relevant project team members and stakeholders;
- Contributing to and adapting to organizational change, best practice and improvements across teams, including the effective implementation and adherence to changes in processes and practices; and
- Looking for and implementing opportunities to improve team efficiencies.
