Information Technology Project Manager

FinSocial is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic IT Project Management Intern to join our dynamic team for a 6-month unpaid internship/co-op. This opportunity offers a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in designing, implementing, managing, and evaluating IT projects across our organization. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling multiple tasks simultaneously and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. FinSocial is a US-based corporation headquartered in Toronto.
Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Assist in testing, researching, and implementing new tools and techniques to enhance our IT infrastructure.
- Scheduling: Help coordinate project schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks and milestones.
- Expense Planning: Support budget planning and expense management for IT projects.
- Problem Solving: Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve technical challenges that may arise during projects.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including AI, Crypto, and Marketing divisions, to ensure seamless integration of IT solutions.
- Documentation: Assist in maintaining comprehensive project documentation and providing regular updates to senior management.
- Quality Assurance: Contribute to ensuring that all IT projects meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Some exposure to project management through coursework, internships, or related experiences is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of IT systems and software development. Familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
- Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Learning Attitude: Eager to learn, adaptable, and proactive in taking on new challenges.
