Site Engineer

Job Description

Our client is a main buildings contractor working on a wide variety of projects in the commercial, healthcare, and educational sectors.

You will be working within a well-established team on a variety of prestigious projects. The current workload is exciting, and you will be involved at all stages. This is a great opportunity to be part of an expanding team.

As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to develop and bring added value to your career and gain additional skills with a BIM enabled contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supporting Site Manager/PM in day-to-day site functions
  2. Strong understanding of quality, safety, and environmental standards in executing and development of a project
  3. Coordination of sub-contractors
  4. Monitor and control of health and safety standards on site
  5. Carry out site inductions as required
  6. Liaise with the design team on construction issues
  7. Raise RFIs with the design team
  8. Issue requisitions for materials
  9. Maintain the site diary / daily log activities
  10. Monitor and control quality / work standards on site
  11. Manage concrete quality, taking cubes / slump tests on site & recording results
  12. Maintain goods received register

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified Engineer
  • 5+ years experience (preferably with a main contractor)
  • Strong Setting Out/Levels experience
  • Reinforced concrete works experience
  • Building experience - Commercial/Industrial/Educational
  • Knowledge of BIM an advantage

Package:

Salary €50K-65K with excellent company benefits and a strong order book.
