Position Overview:
Altea’s Studio Fitness Manager infuses energy, enthusiasm, and a passion into our studio fitness program. You are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the studio fitness operations, ensuring exceptional member experience, and driving the success of our premium program.
You’re a fitness enthusiast who has a unique skillset of overseeing and managing the operations of various “boutique-like” studios under one roof, including scheduling, recruitment and selection, training and development, and facility management. You lead a team of dedicated studio fitness instructors, create exiting events, and ensure the program is thriving and profitable. You lead by example and consistently teach your own studio fitness classes with enthusiasm.
You thrive working in a hybrid environment that combines traditional office work, teaching your own studio fitness classes, attending regular classes and mingling with members. You are an incredibly personable fitness professional who is motivated to share your technical knowledge with our members in a luxury setting. You are a highly organized multi-tasker who is dedicated to helping our members improve their overall health and wellness while building and maintaining a team-oriented group fitness program within our premium club.

As a Studio Fitness Manager, a typical day might include the following:
- Review a pile of studio fitness candidates, host interviews and auditions.
- Attend a studio fitness class to provide constructive feedback.
- Support with the development of the studio fitness schedule (over 180 classes)
- Connect with a member regarding feedback that was provided.
- Communicate updated changes to the schedule based on building maintenance updates.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns and studio fitness events.
- Step in last minute to teach a studio fitness class.
- Coordinate upcoming studio fitness events and themes.
To land this role you need to have;
- Full Time Availability
- A College or University degree relating to the health and fitness industry
- Additional certifications or workshops relating to studio fitness
- A nationally recognized studio fitness certification
- Prior experience as a studio fitness instructor
- 3+ years of leadership and personnel management experience including proven success in coaching and motivating teams to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- All management/leadership team members are required to have Standard First Aid and CPR – Level C Certification prior to start date and must be maintained throughout employment. CPR is to be renewed annually.
- All team members must provide a recent Criminal Background Check prior to commencement of training and/or work.
