Production Labourer

Duties performed in this position include:

  1. Prepare work area daily and communicate with other departments about materials needed.
  2. Ensuring quality of crops are maintained (watered and good quality/staging).
  3. Reporting if crops do not meet quality specifications prior to processing.
  4. Working with other team members to ensure orders are filled correctly and timely according to customer specifications (i.e. planting, potting, tagging, propping, sleeving orders).
  5. Assisting in unloading pots and stickering UPC labels.
  6. Always maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  7. Other general labour duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. Steel toe safety shoes are required.
  2. Successful candidates must have their own reliable transportation.
  3. Willing to work longer hours and Saturdays, during our peak periods.
  4. Ability to work in heat/cold, standing for long periods of time, bending and lifting.
