As an Applications Engineer at Siemens EDA, you will be responsible for sales and technical support of the Catapult High-Level Synthesis platform.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Assisting Account Managers to determine sales execution strategy by identifying and qualifying the match-up between customer needs and Siemens EDA solutions.
  2. Delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations.
  3. Creating and executing winning evaluations and driving technical engagements to success and business win.
  4. Supporting customers with deployment of Catapult HLS solutions and continued proliferation into broader design groups and user base.
  5. Providing technical support to customers in both pre-sales and post-sales situations including technical problem resolution and training.
  6. Performing beta testing and collaborating with R&D and Marketing to assist and shape product direction.

Moderate domestic travel is required when Covid is under control. This position is mostly remote.

Proficiency in C/C++/SystemC and VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog is required:

  1. Strong understanding of Digital design practices and methodology.
  2. Ability to code for synthesis targeting ASIC/FPGA using VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog or HLS using C++/SystemC.
  3. Good understanding of power, performance, area tradeoffs.
  4. Compliance with U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
