The Opportunity:

Our client, an emerging player in the cannabis and psychedelics industry, is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead on-site quality operations for multiple facilities in Ontario and Quebec. Our client manufactures and sells various products, including extracts, topicals and discreet units


Position Details:

  • Perform quality comprehensive oversight related to documentation, SOPs, manufacturing operations, product complaints, deviations, change controls and analytical investigations to ensure compliance with legislation and Health Canada standards.
  • Work collaboratively with site operations for the resolution of investigations and deviations as well as manufacturing optimization.
  • Review and approve validation protocols and reports, stability, documentation, specifications, certificates of analysis and manufacturing batch records.
  • Liaise with operations and regulatory affairs, manufacturers, suppliers, customers, to obtain necessary information/documentation required for product qualification, review and release.
  • Maintain in-house training program for staff.
  • Conduct internal audits, and host regulatory inspections.
  • Execute and enforce quality agreements with suppliers and contract organizations.
  • Other duties as required.


Candidate Requirements:


Post secondary education in a relevant field.

Health Canada Security Clearance Required.

7+ years of quality assurance experience in a relevant industry, such as cannabis, pharma, and/or food.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
