A School Psychologist is a trained professional who works within educational settings to support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral well-being. They collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to identify and address learning challenges, emotional struggles, and behavioral issues that may impact a student's ability to thrive in school. Position-School Psychologist

Team -Associated Professional

Hours -Full time / Part time

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

A Master's Degree in School/Education Psychology

Eligible for membership in the BC Association of School Psychologists

Registered with the College of Psychologists

At least one year of successful school psycho-educational assessment experience in an educational setting or an equivalent supervised internship

Strong interpersonal and consultation skills

Clear, accurate communication via written reports

A copy of your master’s degree

A copy of the transcript (official or unofficial) for your program

Proof of a certified membership/registration with a relevant regulatory body in BC (ex: College of Psychologists)

PLEASE NOTE

The starting annual salary for this School Teacher position ranges from $50,000 to $104,000, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
