About the role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Analyst to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills with a passion for translating data into actionable insights that drive marketing strategy and business growth. This role requires a blend of data expertise, growth mindset, data visualization, innovation, and communication skills to drive efficiencies and support the marketing department's goals and objectives.

What you will be doing:

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM systems, Adobe Analytics, Salesforce Email Marketing, social media platforms) to provide actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain regular reports to track key marketing metrics and performance indicators.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to inform marketing strategies and decision-making.

Campaign Analysis

  • Conduct post-marketing campaign analysis by collecting data from end-to-end marketing funnels and across various marketing channels (email, website, paid-media campaigns, advisor portal document downloads, and sales data).
  • Draft meaningful insights and recommendations for future opportunities based on campaign analysis.

Market Research

  • Conduct market research to understand customer behaviour, preferences, and market trends.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape and provide insights to help the marketing team position products and services effectively.
  • Utilize surveys, focus groups, and other research methods to gather customer feedback.
  • Create compelling data visualizations to effectively communicate insights and trends to stakeholders.
  • Use data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to build interactive dashboards and reports.
  • Ensure visualizations are clear, concise, and tailored to the audience's needs.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and finance, to align marketing strategies with business objectives.
  • Present findings and insights to stakeholders, providing clear and concise recommendations.
  • Support the marketing team in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
What you need to be great in this role:
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) as a Data Analyst, Marketing Analyst, Data Science Analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong analytical, data visualization and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data-driven insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, and VBA is an asset.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels, metrics, and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with data management and governance practices, including data cleansing, segmentation, and reporting.
  • Mandarin language skills are an asset but not required.
