Position Overview

Hammehr invites applications for the role of Enterprise Architect on behalf of our client for a full-time permanent opportunity. This role focuses on leading the planning, design, and implementation of enterprise technology services, ensuring alignment with business objectives for infrastructure resilience and security. What You’ll Do

  • Define & execute the firm’s hybrid enterprise architecture strategy, ensuring seamless integration between on-premises and Microsoft Azure environments
  • Advise on cloud security best practices, particularly around conditional access rules and data governance, ensuring compliance with industry standards
  • Lead enterprise-wide technology transformation initiatives, helping the firm move towards a more proactive, service-driven IT model
  • Architect AI data integration solutions, securely connecting Microsoft 365, on-prem file shares, and other business-critical data sources for AI-driven analytics
  • Act as a trusted advisor to IT leadership and C-level executives, translating technical challenges into clear business insights
  • Oversee cross-functional collaboration, working closely with networking, infrastructure, enterprise applications, and security teams to implement scalable IT solutions
  • Ensure business continuity planning (BCP) and IT disaster recovery strategies are optimized and align with operational needs
  • Evaluate and recommend enterprise IT frameworks and best practices, ensuring continuous improvement
  • Communicate technical decisions effectively, providing clear recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders


Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, infrastructure design, and IT project leadership, with a focus on aligning technology solutions with business objectives.
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, hybrid cloud infrastructure, and IT transformation, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure
  • Proven expertise in on-premises and cloud infrastructure, including experience in Azure migrations and hybrid security solutions
  • Strong understanding of networking principles, including VLANs, MPLS, and secure network connectivity between cloud and on-prem environments
  • Hands-on experience with VMware (vSphere, VXrail) and enterprise storage solutions (SAN, Isilon)
  • Deep security expertise, particularly around Microsoft 365 security policies, conditional access rule implementation, and identity & access management (IAM)


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience migrating on-premises IT environments to cloud-based solutions, particularly within large, highly structured enterprise environments
  • Prior experience in a law firm or professional services IT environment, understanding industry-specific IT compliance needs
  • Advanced proficiency in Azure architecture, including networking, security, and conditional access rule configuration
  • Experience working with AI or data science teams to connect and integrate hybrid data sources securely
  • Project management skills for leading enterprise-wide IT initiatives
