Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Read and interpret drawings and follow code specifications and procedures
  2. Instrumentation tubing
  3. Installation of instruments, hoses and fabrication
  4. Calibration of components and instruments according to manufacturers’ specifications
  5. Inspecting and testing, fault finding
  6. Ability to troubleshoot

Requirements:

  1. Have a Journeyperson Instrumentation certification or be a registered apprentice from a recognized provincial training authority
  2. Experience with working on a construction project in an industrial setting
  3. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  4. Excellent communication skills
  5. Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
  6. Successful candidates will require OSSA Regional Orientation Program, CSO or BSO
  7. Energy Safety Canada’s Fall Protection

Work Conditions:

  1. Shift based position with 14 days on and 7 days off, working 10 hours per day
  2. Site based camp accommodation provided
  3. Travel allowance provided to those candidates who qualify
  4. Extended Health & Wellness benefits provided by CLAC
  5. Work will primarily be outdoors in various weather conditions
