Role: Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Windsor, ON (Onsite)

JD:

  1. Primary responsibility is to maintain and support the production lines while directing Maintenance personnel.
  2. This includes but is not limited to: PLC and robot programming & troubleshooting, manufacturing process improvements, mechanical improvements to tooling and equipment.
  3. Conformance to customer requirements.

Experience Needed:

  • Knowledge of manufacturing concepts.
  • Strong background in PLCs, Robotics, and error-proofing methods and equipment.
  • Working knowledge of OHSA, other applicable legislation, TS, IATF.
  • Experience in working with multiple discipline projects.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Excellent skills with Microsoft line of software products.
  • Previous experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks considered an asset.
  • Previous experience with electronic torque assembly tools considered an asset.
  • Previous experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems considered an asset.
  • Previous experience in a Just-In-Time manufacturing environment considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of problem resolution methodologies.
