Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our Boart Longyear team in Val D’or, Quebec.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Must be authorized to work in Canada
  2. Must have valid Canada Driver’s License
  3. Bilingual – ability to speak and write in both English and French
  4. Counterbalance Forklift Experience (1 year plus)
  5. High school diploma or equivalent
  6. 3-5 years’ experience in supply chain handling warehouse operation and people management.
  7. 3+ years’ experience in a supervisor or team lead position
  8. Understanding of Lean principles
  9. Strong communication skills and process coordination
  10. Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  1. Ensure organization and accuracy of product.
  2. Investigate and organize shipment discrepancies.
  3. Respond to inquiries regarding products and inventories.
  4. Lead the department to meet daily targets and goals.
  5. Take action to correct any issues and to make improvements.
  6. Where needed, perform warehouse functions and general duties as assigned.
  7. Provide purchase orders to our 3PL vendors and our suppliers for items needed in the warehouse.
  8. Conduct warehouse and safety inspections.
  9. Build a Safety Culture being compliant with our Company EHS standards.
  10. Guarantee the order and cleaning of the warehouse.
  11. Keep control of our processes to guarantee alignment with our corporate standards and avoid compliance issues during internal audits.
  12. Analyze Warehouse KPIs to identify opportunities for performance improvements and oversee any other projects related to our warehouse at Val D’or.
