The Opportunity


We are seeking a versatile Data Analyst/Developer to join our client's team. This role is ideal for a professional with expertise in data modeling, analysis, and reporting, coupled with advanced SQL skills and proficiency in tools such as Infor Birst, Power BI, or Tableau. You'll play a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.


What You’ll Be Doing


  • Designing, developing, and maintaining conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
  • Translating business requirements into scalable and optimized data structures.
  • Collaborating with data engineers and analysts to ensure data consistency and integrity.
  • Conducting reviews of data models and enforcing best practices and standards.
  • Ensuring data stability, security, and performance across all models.
  • Documenting and communicating data models and specifications to stakeholders.
  • Identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies through advanced data analysis.
  • Using statistical techniques and data mining tools to extract insights.
  • Developing data-driven solutions to address business challenges.
  • Working with stakeholders to align insights with business objectives.
  • Creating and maintaining complex dashboards and reports using Infor Birst, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Writing advanced SQL queries to extract and transform data from various sources.
  • Designing visualizations that effectively communicate key insights.
  • Optimizing report performance and troubleshooting issues.


What You’ll Need To Be Successful


  • SQL Expertise: Advanced skills, including window functions, common table expressions, subqueries, and stored procedures.
  • Education: Computer Science Degree
  • Business Intelligence Tools: Proficiency in at least one tool such as Infor Birst, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Data Modeling: Strong foundation in data modeling techniques and CRM-database relationships.
  • Data Analysis: Proven ability to derive actionable insights through analytics and data mining.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data analysis, modeling, and reporting.
