Role Description

This is a full-time Supervisor, Project Engineering role at Promation in Oakville, ON, with flexibility for hybrid work. The role involves overseeing and directly contributing to project engineering activities, coordinating project schedules, resources, and providing technical solutions, and ensuring timely project delivery. The Supervisor will lead a team of project engineers and technical specialists, provide technical guidance & oversight on projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to our growth and success by driving innovation and ensuring the highest standards of quality in our engineering processes.


Qualifications

  • A post-secondary degree in industrial or mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation in Ontario is considered an asset
  • 7+ years of experience in project engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in the nuclear tooling industry
  • 2+ years of experience leading and/or supervising a team of engineers
  • Familiarity with operating under a quality management system (CSA N299.1)
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate team members
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective team collaboration
  • Excellent technical knowledge in all aspects of manufacturing, assembly, purchasing, quality assurance, testing, and project coordination
