We're looking for a mission-driven Project Lead, Come to Work Program Transition
who is passionate about creating more accessible, inclusive, and equitable communities across Canada where people with low vision have unlimited opportunities and can experience life free from barriers and discrimination.
Your Impact at CNIB
- Working alongside the Team Lead, Come to Work, ensure that the project team is on track with key performance indicators and targets in the final year of the project.
- Document knowledge, processes, and resources pertaining to project delivery.
- Gather data, testimonials, photos, and other materials that encapsulate the success of the Come to Work Project in the province.
- Write and compile project reports as requested by the Government of British Columbia.
- Capture all project-related costs and back-up documentation for the duration of the project.
- In collaboration with the Philanthropy team, research, identify, and review future funding opportunities for the Come to Work Program in British Columbia.
- Under the guidance of the Executive Director and in collaboration with the Philanthropy team, assist with establishing and stewarding stakeholder relations with potential funders.
Requirements
Who you are:
Education and Certifications
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field.
Experience And Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or management.
- Work experience in non-profit or public sector is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team and collaborate with all levels of the organization across various functions.
- Excellent writing skills with an ability to produce reports, documents, and briefings.
- Experience in reporting on government projects is an asset.
- Attention to detail with accuracy.
- Ability to quickly absorb information, turn it into knowledge, and utilize it outwardly as insights.
- Ability to effectively use Customer Relationship Management software.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce is an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Proven time management, planning, coordinating, and organization skills; proactive in initiating multiple projects on an ongoing basis.
- Effectively demonstrates understanding and championing of diversity and accessibility issues.
- Personal or professional experience relating to blindness and sight loss is considered an asset.
- Personal or professional experience working with assistive technology and/or accessible environments is considered an asset.
