Our client is a full-service, global brand design and experience agency servicing world-class clients. This is a remote role working on Eastern Standard Time.


Primary Purpose

Represent our agency and support our ever-evolving business needs and act as an integral member of the team, building partnerships and collaboration with both agency and client teams. Serve as the Regulatory Compliance Specialist and liaison between the agency, vendors and the client.


The Regulatory Compliance Specialists’ primary function will be to review store-brand packaging artwork across all categories (Food/General Merchandise, Personal Care) for regulatory compliance (primarily US FDA).


In the face of demanding deadlines, multiple, rapidly changing priorities, you will support and exhibit behaviors consistent with our agency values and beliefs in a fiscally responsible manner.


This role will report to the Director of Regulatory Compliance.



General Overview

The Regulatory Compliance Specialist will work closely with the Account Managers, Design Directors, Project Managers, Copywriter and Production Designers to support and contribute to the day-to-day packaging deliverables, regulatory compliance and flawless execution.



Responsibilities

In addition to the above responsibilities, the Regulatory Compliance Reviewer will also:

  • Work closely with Project Managers, Copywriter and Production Designers reviewing copy sheets and artwork files and provide regulatory guidance.
  • Collaborate with our client’s Regulatory team when needed to gain alignment on direction.
  • Primary point of contact for reviewing all claims on pack meet graphic compliance requirements.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of regulatory compliance changes as needed to perform this role
  • Participate in conference calls when needed to address concerns
  • Manage various trackers and spreadsheet reports, as needed
  • Leverage established key resources and guidelines
  • Intermediate measurement and math skills


Education & Experience Requirements

  • BS degree and/or equivalent certification considered an asset
  • 3-5 years experience working in regulatory compliance in CPG environments
  • Strong Knowledge of current code of US federal regulations
  • Regulatory knowledge of consumer-packaged goods for edibles, beauty and healthcare categories
  • Detail oriented, organized and can interact in team environment
  • Ability to manage large scale projects and peak volume, deadline driven situations
  • Superior organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time, while paying strict attention to the details and adhering to best practices and brand guidelines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Open to a flexible work schedule
  • Proficient using Mac OS with Intermediate to advanced skills in Adobe illustrator and Acrobat, and Microsoft Products; and project management/routing program
