Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  1. Supervise multiple projects and assignments concurrently.
  2. Understand a broad range of assigned banking applications and their interfaces.
  3. Have comprehensive knowledge of UAT methodology, procedures, and standards.
  4. Assess individual project needs and work closely with Development, Configuration/Code Management, and environment teams.
  5. Develop, implement, and document all testing activities, including test planning, test documentation, test execution, defect tracking, and reporting.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

  1. Strong QA Lead experience of around 7-8 years.
  2. Extensive understanding of code management, server and applications layering, environment configuration, and databases.
  3. Experience in software fault source diagnosis.
  4. Strong working knowledge of PCs and department-related software.
  5. Experience working on agile and waterfall projects.
  6. Understanding of automation tools and experience using automation scripts for project testing.
  7. Well-developed leadership ability and strong interpersonal skills.
  8. Superior analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach to project testing.

Supervise and co-ordinate testing for projects/releases:

  1. Assess UAT projects to determine the risk of releasing the code into the current test environment.
  2. Design UAT test plans; assign and review test documentation.
  3. Schedule and approve the release of projects into the UAT environment.
  4. Execute complex test plans and supervise the execution of testing.
  5. Assess the results of UAT tests and work closely with the development group to resolve defects.
  6. Transfer application and process expertise to more junior analysts within UAT.

Nice to have:

Experience with Opentext Exstream or Xpression.
