Job Description:

  • The Food Service Supervisor is responsible for supervising, directing and coordinating the activities of Food Service Staff who prepare, portion and serve food.

Responsibilities :

  • Establish work schedules and procedures.
  • Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Requisition of food and kitchen supplies.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
  • Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates.
  • Prepare and submit reports.
  • May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets.

Supervision :

  • 5 to 10 people.

Qualifications & Skills :

  • Supervisory experience of 1+ years.
  • Experience in the Food Services Industry is preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of Tim Horton’s products and procedures.
  • Secondary (high) school certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills (motivating, delegation, conflict management, respect for others, listening).
  • Professional attitude and ability to communicate well with customers, co-workers, and suppliers.
  • Due to this position’s sensitive nature, the successful candidate must complete a Criminal Record Check .
