About Us:

My client a newly launched ophthalmology clinic committed to delivering exceptional eye care with a focus on innovation, compassion, and patient experience. They are a team of eye care professionals is dedicated to improving vision and enhancing lives through the latest diagnostic and surgical techniques.

They are looking for a dynamic Clinic Manager to help us establish operations, lead our clinic team, and ensure a seamless and welcoming patient experience from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinic Setup & Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the clinic, including scheduling, patient flow, and administrative processes.
  • Work closely with ownership and clinical leadership to implement workflows, protocols, and policies.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for medical equipment, software systems (e.g., EMR), and clinic supplies.
  • Assist with initial hiring and onboarding of clinical and administrative staff.

Team Leadership & HR

  • Lead, train, and support a growing team of front-desk, technicians, and clinical support staff.
  • Create and maintain a positive, patient-centered culture that aligns with the clinic's values.
  • Manage staff schedules, performance, and development.

Patient Experience & Service Excellence

  • Monitor and enhance the patient journey from first contact through follow-up.
  • Resolve patient issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and health & safety guidelines.

Administrative & Financial Oversight

  • Manage clinic budget, invoicing, billing processes, and insurance claims
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, including patient volumes, wait times, and satisfaction.
  • Support marketing efforts and community outreach as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a healthcare operations or clinic management role (ophthalmology or optometry is required preferred).
  • Strong understanding of clinic workflows, scheduling systems, and EMRs.
  • Proven leadership, problem-solving, and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Comfort working in a start-up or growth-phase environment where flexibility and initiative are key.
