Job Title: Experienced Supervisor for PSW Students Community Placement

Overview: Responsible for monitoring PSW students in a 100-hour long-term care placement.

Qualifications:

  1. Experienced in NACC - PSW 2022 - LTC-Community Placement Curriculum.
  2. MUST be a PSW with a NACC certificate from a PSW program post-2015.
  3. MUST have a minimum of three (3) years current, relevant work experience in a Canadian clinical environment, preferably in LTC.
  4. Can be a RPN.
  5. Can be a RN.

Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise PSW students.
  2. Oversee administration and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  3. Coordinate activities and events for PSW students.

Skills Required:

  1. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide students.
  2. Knowledge of PSW best practices.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  4. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve effectively.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 52 weeks

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Schedule:

  1. Day shift
  2. Evening shift
  3. Monday to Friday
  4. Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2024-10-01
