Associate Creative Director - Freelance - Motion Design
What are we looking for?

We are looking for an Associate Creative Director to help our creative team come up with and produce compelling digital video ad campaigns. The ideal candidate should combine creative excellence, strategic thinking, and substantial experience with the Adobe Creative Suite. Typical campaigns use art assets from different sources to create content that is engaging and on-brand. The ideal candidate should have a background in video production, digital & print design, advertising and gaming, with an emphasis on short turnaround, high volume ad creation. This is a fully remote position. Work hours are generally 8am 6pm PST.


Requirements
  • 10+ years of video production and motion design experience, with a strong
  • portfolio of past work.
  • MUST have After Effects experience
  • Advanced Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Act as a creative lead along the journey of the campaign. Experience in short form advertising, from concept development to final execution.
  • Strong copy skills needed.
  • Ensure that the design output is brand-appropriate, and all marketing requirements are completed on time, and with the highest standard possible, for both internal and external reviews.
  • Generate rough project files and assets for execution by internal and external artists.
  • Create static and video content when necessary.
  • Assist with QC and review of deliverables. Assist with art asset collection, organization, music supervision & track selection for projects.
  • Great organizational skills: file management, naming convention, project organization of software, plugins, assets, fonts, etc.
  • Detailed knowledge of digital formats and language (i.e. Aspect Ratios, Frame Rates, Action/Title Safe Areas and Codecs, etc.)
  • A team player who is motivated, organized, and able to work within a collaborative environment, while being flexible and adaptable.
  • The ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Research creative trends in competitive markets and apply that knowledge and learning to the development of new marketing and packaging projects.
  • Capable of working within a fast-paced environment while thinking creatively and responding to changing priorities
  • A strong understanding and knowledge of gaming and the gaming industry a plus.
