Job Description

This position is Part-time Evening and must be available Every other weekend from 3 PM to 8:30 PM.

What you'll be doing

  • Collects/receives laundry and performs cleaning and drying as per established protocol.
  • Prepares laundry for distribution
  • Observes operation of machines and reports malfunctions to the Supervisor
  • Assists in maintaining laundry facilities, equipment and supplies
  • Advises Supervisor of inventory levels of chemicals and linen shortages
  • Adheres to established department policies, and procedures regarding quality assurance, fire safety, environment, and infection control.

What you bring

  • Frequent standing, walking, squatting, reaching, and lifting of heavily soiled linens but in controlled amounts or with assistance.
  • Ability to work safely, following established safety practices and procedures.
  • Understanding of washer and dryer operations and some knowledge of chemicals used in process preferred.
  • Strong organization, planning, time management, and multi-tasking skills
