Reports to: Environmental Services Manager
Job Summary:
The incumbent is responsible for providing high quality housekeeping/laundry services for residents and guests in accordance with regulatory/legislative requirements, and Company policies, procedures and guidelines.
Job Duties:
- Cleans assigned areas, suites, furnishings and fixtures in accordance with established housekeeping cleaning schedule (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.) and procedures.
- Cleans floors, dry mops, wet mops, sweeps, disinfects where and when necessary.
- Launders resident bedding, towels or personal items, as per cleaning schedule.
- Reports observations to supervisor concerning structural and equipment wear, defects and malfunctions, and documents in maintenance repair log.
- Adhere to all appropriate workplace regulations, compliance's, legislation and Company policies and procedures.
- Maintain the highest standards of professionalism by following the Company dress code and/or wearing the Company uniform.
- Participate in all Health and Safety, Fire Safety, Infection Control and related activities as required.
- Attend all staff meetings and mandatory training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Performance Requirements:
- Continuously follow the principles of “good customer service” and ensure that these values are demonstrated in day to day practices.
- Interact effectively with team members, residents, families, visitors, and external service providers.
- Able to work under limited supervision.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.30 per hour
