Reports to: Environmental Services Manager

Job Summary:

The incumbent is responsible for providing high quality housekeeping/laundry services for residents and guests in accordance with regulatory/legislative requirements, and Company policies, procedures and guidelines.

Job Duties:

  1. Cleans assigned areas, suites, furnishings and fixtures in accordance with established housekeeping cleaning schedule (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.) and procedures.
  2. Cleans floors, dry mops, wet mops, sweeps, disinfects where and when necessary.
  3. Launders resident bedding, towels or personal items, as per cleaning schedule.
  4. Reports observations to supervisor concerning structural and equipment wear, defects and malfunctions, and documents in maintenance repair log.
  5. Adhere to all appropriate workplace regulations, compliance's, legislation and Company policies and procedures.
  6. Maintain the highest standards of professionalism by following the Company dress code and/or wearing the Company uniform.
  7. Participate in all Health and Safety, Fire Safety, Infection Control and related activities as required.
  8. Attend all staff meetings and mandatory training.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Performance Requirements:

  1. Continuously follow the principles of “good customer service” and ensure that these values are demonstrated in day to day practices.
  2. Interact effectively with team members, residents, families, visitors, and external service providers.
  3. Able to work under limited supervision.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.30 per hour
