Job Description:

We are seeking a Business Development Associate to join our team. This remote role is commission-only (with potential to move to full-time), offering unlimited earning potential for those who are highly motivated and capable of achieving sales targets. This role involves facilitating conversations with veterinarians and veterinary clinics through outbound sales methodologies, including outbound email and outbound phone calls, in order to set up a demonstration of the NerveX technology either in the clinic (if local) or virtually (if not). The goal of these meetings is to bring the clinic on as a customer of NerveX.


Key Responsibilities:

As a Business Development Associate at NerveX, your role will entail:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and engage with potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and digital outreach.
  • Sales Presentations: Effectively communicate the value and benefits of our products/services to prospective clients through presentations, demos, and proposals.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Skillfully negotiate terms and close deals to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to refine sales strategies.
  • Reporting: Regularly update the company on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback.


Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of outbound sales experience
  • A roll-up-your-sleeves, can-do attitude
  • Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools is considered an asset
  • Familiarity with the veterinary industry is considered an asset
  • Experience in a startup environment is considered an asset


Compensation:

Commission-only (with potential to move to full-time); OTE/year: ~$60,000.
