Penticton Regional Hospital is a 170-bed Acute Care facility in the beautiful South Okanagan of BC and is responsible for providing core medical and surgical specialty services to surrounding population of approximately 90,000 people.

What will you work on?

As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a pivotal role in processing medication orders, ensuring their safety and accuracy within our healthcare facility. The responsibilities include:

  1. Receiving and verifying prescriptions from practitioners
  2. Preparing and compounding medications
  3. Conducting thorough checks on dispensed prescriptions
  4. Managing prescription transfers
  5. Maintaining accurate drug and health information
  6. Overseeing stock levels
  7. Performing clerical duties
Your attention to detail will be critical in ensuring the safe distribution of medication orders to patients, clients, and residents.
