We are seeking qualified Chief Engineers to join our team at Algoma Central Corporation. As a Chief Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the management of our dry-bulk fleet, which includes gearless bulk carriers and self-unloading vessels.

The Chief Engineer will work closely with the Captain and Engineering Superintendent to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Engine Room Department.

Requirements:
  • First-Class Engineer, Motor Ship certification issued by Transport Canada
  • STCW Certificates
  • Marine Medical certification issued by Transport Canada
  • Canadian passport or permanent residence status
  • Ship Security Officer certification
