Salesforce Tech Lead - InsurTech

Location - Toronto Area



Azur Technology is at the forefront of digitising the insurance sector, working with some of the biggest names in the business to bring innovative and exciting products to market. We’re not your typical consultants, we work closely with our clients as an embedded product team, developing long-lasting and trusted partnerships.



We're currently 80+ people strong and we have clear plans to scale the business. We play in the Salesforce stack. We configure where can, but if we need to build Lightning Component or Heroku apps to drive revenues, we do. Whatever we do, we want to do it better.



We are now looking for hands on detailed Salesforce Senior Software Engineer / Team Lead to help us significantly reduce time to market of the insurance products we build.

Responsibilities:



The senior software engineers will work with the wider engineering team and product managers to build digital insurance products using Salesforce/Omnistudio.



The patterns for building the product will closely follow the Omnistudio product patterns and also leverage Azur’s architecture knowledge and experiences building multiple insurance products.



Team leads will also troubleshoot issues for colleagues and help improve the design/build/release patterns.



Must haves:



  • Must have Salesforce development experience, ideally 5+ years. (Knowledge of Apex, Lightning, Communities, Declarative & Custom solutions).
  • The person should have good software engineering maturity and ideally be able to leverage the low code Vlocity techniques.
  • They should be good problem solvers and be able to lead by example.
  • Experience in development tools and source control (CI/CD).
  • Experience working in agile project methodologies.
  • Specific Vlocity/OmniStudio development experience a bonus.
  • Insurance industry experience highly advantageous.
  • Ideal to have full cycle Salesforce implementation experience.
  • Strong team player with problem analysis and resolution skills.
