Mon-Fri or Tues-Sat or Sun-Thurs, 8-4:30pm, 12pm-8pm, 1pm-9pm

Complete diagnostic, repair and maintenance of equipment for home service. A key customer interface and revenue-generator for the business.

Responsibilities:
  1. Accountable for the delivery of high customer service excellence levels.
  2. Responsible for sustaining high customer satisfaction levels in our Home Services Operations group.
  3. Responsible for completing all diagnostic and repair work in an effective and efficient manner to company standards and in keeping with our value proposition.
  4. Responsible for providing best advice to customers on repairing or replacing existing equipment.
  5. Responsible for promoting Enercare Home Services products and services.
  6. Responsible for assuring all tools and equipment used are in good and safe working order.
  7. Responsible for keeping vehicle clean and neat both inside and out in keeping with the company’s professional image.
  8. Responsible for keeping vehicle stocked with all material necessary to perform daily duties.
  9. Responsible for supervisor signoff of apprentice training standard log book.
  10. Responsible to meet all apprentice training requirements, maintaining passing grades.
  11. Responsible to arrange EI during MTCU training.
Qualifications:

Must have:

  1. Valid Gas Technician 2 or Gas Technician 1 license
  2. CFC Permit or capable of obtaining permit (ozone depletion)
  3. Valid driver's license with clean driver's abstract maintained
  4. Physically able to perform heavy lifting as per the Physical Demands Analysis (to be provided)
  5. Ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment related to servicing HVAC equipment
  6. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
  7. Proven commitment to the delivery of customer-focused service
  8. Excellent written and verbal communications
  9. Exceptional interpersonal skills
  10. Able to work with minimal supervision
  11. Result oriented, achieving high levels of individual and team performance
