Full Stack Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled developer who is comfortable with both front- and back-end programming. You will be working on developing and designing digital solutions, ensuring the responsiveness of our platforms alongside a talented and passionate development team working on a vast array of systems.

As a Full Stack Developer, reporting directly to the Digital Lead Architect, you will be responsible for the maintenance and improvement of BRP’s digital platforms.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Manage work development and maintenance of customer-facing digital platforms.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of any interface with other systems related to the digital platforms (AEM Sites, AEM Assets, Magento).
  • Collaborate with Project managers, Product owners, IT, BA and the UX team to constantly improve traffic acquisition, conversion, and retention.
  • Write unit and functional tests within automated test environments to ensure code quality.
  • Build functional prototypes of applications to demonstrate value to stakeholders.
  • Convert user stories into development tasks and provide accurate estimates.
  • Participate in all areas of the project life cycle, including Discovery, estimation, Sprint Planning, delivery and post release support.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • A proven track record of prioritizing your own work.
  • Experience with AEM Sites and Assets is required.
  • Excellent knowledge of front-end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React and Vue.
  • Proficiency with languages such as Java and Python.
  • Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, MariaDB and MongoDB.
  • Proficiency with Azure cloud services.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud products and eCommerce stack would be a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud automation using Azure CLI, ARM templates or Terraform would be a plus.
  • Working experience with DevOps CI/CD pipelines would be a plus.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills (in either French or English).
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
