Job Summary:

Xpertyse is currently seeking for it's client, a fast growing pharmaceutical company, a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Marketing Director to lead specialty and rare disease division. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans to drive revenue growth, enhance market presence, and build strong relationships with healthcare providers, payers, and patients.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly with specialty and rare disease medication and a proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies for specialty medications.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Set and achieve sales targets, revenue goals, and market share objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales teams of 4 area manager, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
  • Provide regular training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
  • Identify and establish relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, payers, and patient advocacy groups.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
  • Oversee the sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a customer-centric approach.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Create and implement marketing campaigns to promote specialty medications, including digital marketing, advertising, and public relations.
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in sciences ; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and marketing within the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on specialty medications.
  • Medical liaison experience experience
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
  • In-depth knowledge of the specialty medication market, including market trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape.
  • Willingness to travel as needed in Canada
