Security Guard / Guardien (On-Call Replacement - Sur Appel Remplacement)

Salary/salaire: $23.18 per hour / 23.18$ par heure


  • Must hold a BSP security license, as per the private security Act adopted by the National Assembly of Quebec in 2006
  • Ability to make inspection rounds according to predetermined schedules; make sure that doors and windows are locked and that lights are turned off; must report to management any irregularities or deficiencies involving risk or damage to property
  • Ability to greet visitors. Oversees the comings and goings of visitors, staff and students and, in some cases, residents
  • Ability to maintain order and discipline, answer the telephone, relay messages and deliver documents entrusted with them
  • Hold basic notion of the security code

  • Avoir des notions élémentaires des règles de sécurité
  • Doit détenir une licence de sécurité BSP, conformément à la Loi sur la sécurité privée adoptée par l'Assemblée nationale du Québec en 2006
  • Aptitude à effectuer des rondes d'inspection, selon des horaires prédéterminés; s'assurer que les portes et fenêtres sont verrouillées et que les lumières sont éteintes; doit faire rapport à la direction de toutes irrégularités et de toutes défectuosités susceptibles de comporter des risques ou causer des dommages à la propriété
  • Aptitude à accueillir des visiteurs; doit exercer une surveillance sur les entrées et sorties des visiteurs, du personnel, des élèves et des résidents, le cas échéant
  • Doit maintenir, au besoin, l'ordre et la discipline, répondre aux appels téléphoniques, transmettre les messages et les documents qui lui sont confiés
