The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology, project management, and leadership, with the ability to navigate interdependencies across multiple business teams and external vendor partners.


Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize project management methodologies and processes for project activities and gates
  • Create and manage standard project management artifacts and activities
  • Conduct initial project planning, including soliciting estimates, requirements, and user stories
  • Establish timelines and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Obtain and allocate resources effectively
  • Ensure compliance with information privacy and security assessments, and project governance
  • Monitor project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and align with project requirements
  • Manage testing activities as required
  • Execute content and business writing, maintaining accurate project documentation
  • Support other project activities and tasks as reasonably required by the client


Required Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent diploma in technology
  • Formal project management training and certification (PMP preferred or PRINCE2)
  • Minimum 5 years of significant and recent experience in a leadership capacity on complex initiatives
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and scheduling skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Familiarity with predictive and hybrid project management, as well as kanban/agile methodologies
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience navigating interdependencies across multiple business teams and external vendor partners
  • Effective negotiation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of standard project management methodologies and tools
  • Fluency in Confluence, Jira, Microsoft Office Suite/SharePoint, and MS Project
  • Strong understanding of web development and website infrastructure
  • Experience with SaaS applications and integrations in complex environments, mobile applications, and vendor management

Experience working with a Crown corporation

Experience in the gambling industry

Existing and ongoing contract with the company at the time of submission
