SAP AI Product Engineering Team is part of the SAP Business AI unit and one of the key drivers of the Intelligent Enterprise. What You'll Do
As an AI Core Developer, you will have the unique opportunity to join the SAP Artificial Intelligence product engineering team within SAP’s AI unit. In a dynamic, fun, and start-up-like environment, you will have a great opportunity to learn and work on emerging technologies, solving real-world problems at the intersection of Cloud, DevOps, and Artificial Intelligence. You will collaborate with seasoned software engineers, architects, DevOps experts, and AI specialists to explore cutting-edge topics in the cloud AI ecosystem.
Your tasks will include:
- Explore, understand, and implement most recent technologies and approaches for SAP Generative AI Hub.
- Work within a diverse team, employing scrum and agile development methodologies.
- Create excellence both in terms of results quality and system scalability through continuous evaluation, analysis, and refinement of the system implementation.
- Perform quality assurance tasks and solving complex integration issues.
- Ability to work in global teams with different time zones.
- Immerse yourself quickly into new topics, terminology, and development tasks.
What You Bring
- Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3 to 7 years of working experience in Software Engineering specialized in AI and Cloud Platforms.
- A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, design patterns, multi-threaded programming, and software design principles.
- Sound experience in cloud native development.
- Experience with software engineering best practices such as version control (e.g. git), CI/CD testing, security, and documentation.
- Experience with cloud-based application development using platforms such as SAP’s business technology platform, AWS, Azure & GCP.
- Excellent written and communication skills in English language.
- A collaborative team player, enthusiastic, proactive, and fully passionate about coding.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with the concepts of Generative AI, Foundation models, and LLMs. Knowledge and exposure to LLM consumptions for Application development.
- Experience working with DevOps including container technologies like Docker & Kubernetes.
- System design skills for scalable, performant, and resilient AI-empowered and AI-enabling systems.
