Mint Health + Drugs seeks a Pharmacy Assistant to join our dynamic and growing team. In this role, you'll collaborate with a dedicated group of healthcare professionals, ensuring exceptional customer care and adhering to all regulatory requirements. Join us in fostering a collaborative and innovative environment where your support will make a meaningful impact on the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist to prepare and dispense drugs
- Assess new and repeat prescriptions
- Support pharmacists in patient counseling and education
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements
- Document and maintain accurate records
- Promote healthy living and immunization programs
- Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones and managing paperwork
- Communicate with customers and other healthcare professionals
- Provide customer service to patients, addressing inquiries and processing transactions
Education & Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Pharmacy Assistant certificate is considered an asset
Experience & Skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Clear communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proven experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a related role
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations and medications is an asset
- Experience with Kroll software is an asset
- Ability to adhere to regulatory compliance
- Experience in pharmacy management and leadership is an asset
