NVH Technician

We are looking for an Acoustics and Vibration Technician to report to the Acoustics and Vibration Team Leader and work under the supervision of an Engineer. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to be creative and innovative, and to influence technical directions in the motorsports field. You'll have the chance to work in the field of recreational product development as part of a dynamic, passionate and motivated team.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

• Supporting development of various mechanical components and systems towards delivering the desired NVH performance of our vehicles
• Participating to test protocol definition for full vehicle and component testing • Instrumenting components, powertrain and full vehicles
• Conducting NVH performance validation tests on components, powertrain and full vehicles on dynamometers and on tracks
• Performing experimental data analysis
• Identifying solutions for achieving desired NVH targets along with global performance and cost targets for the vehicle.
• Working in close cooperation with project teams, powertrain group and Rotax.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

• Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in mechanical engineering, physics, robotics or another related technical field
• Relevant experience in NVH, instrumentation, automotive or powersports • Technical knowledge in the fields of NVH, Frequency domain analysis and electronics are an asset
• Knowledge of software tools Simcenter Testlab and INCA or equivalent are an asset
• Knowlege or interest in powertrain, propulsion systems and engine calibration
• Having to work on different systems of the vehicle, you will have to demonstrate autonomy, practical learning skills, initiative and a strong sense of ownership for your projects.
• Capacity to communicate in spoken and written English and French within an international organisation
• Strong interest for powersports and mobility
