Deadline for internal applications is Monday November 18th, 2024, at 5 PM (EST).Are YOU our next Team Lead-Specimen Processing?This is a Permanent Full-time role to cover the 8 PM to 4 AM Shift Reporting to the Manager, the Team Lead - Specimen Processing is responsible for monitoring the day-to-day operations which includes the organization of the daily work in a safe environment, coaching and training of the staff, as well as taking appropriate actions to maintain a continuous workflow and his shift.What you will be doing
  • Organize the daily work of the team, ensure that tasks are completed on time and solve common problems
  • Ensure documentary traceability of the receipt and shipment of biological samples
  • Follow up on anomalies and non-conformities in collaboration with the various Dynacare departments and implement corrective actions, if necessary
  • Participate in daily tasks such as data entry and verification of medical requests, as needed Participate in the optimization of operational processes and the implementation of new services
  • Write and update operational procedures
  • Perform the training necessary for the development of the team
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards according to the procedures in place
  • Any other responsibility assigned by the immediate superior
What YOU bring to the Role
  • College or university degree in a relevant field, or certified MLA
  • 1-3 years of experience in data entry and management of biological samples
  • Bilingualism (French/English both oral and written) an asset
  • Knowledge of ISO / GLP standards an asset
  • Knowledge of WHIMIS and TDG and asset
  • Autonomous, responsible, sense of organization and planning
  • Strong communication skills and effective teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage priorities
  • Ability to work in a changing and constantly evolving environment
  • Availability to work overtime as needed
