Role Description

We are looking for experienced biostatisticians to support clinical and epidemiological research projects. This is a roster position, meaning selected candidates will be contacted for project-based work as opportunities arise. Successful candidates will work closely with researchers, clinicians, and stakeholders to apply statistical methodologies to health data, support study designs, and contribute to high-impact research.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform statistical analyses for clinical trials, epidemiological studies, and health research projects
• Apply descriptive statistics, univariate and multivariate models to analyze data
• Work with administrative datasets to extract meaningful insights
• Develop predictive models and explore AI applications in health research (preferred)
• Contribute to study design, including sample size calculations and power analysis
• Assist in the development of statistical analysis plans (SAPs) and study protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure rigorous and accurate interpretation of findings
• Clearly communicate results through reports, presentations, and manuscripts

Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Statistics and Survival Analysis
• Experience with Statistical Software (e.g., R, SAS, SPSS, STATA, or Python)
• Strong understanding of study design, statistical modeling, and data management
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently
• Advanced degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field
• Experience in health research and clinical trials is a plus
• Familiarity with real-world evidence (RWE) methodologies and working with large-scale healthcare datasets
• Ability to translate complex statistical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques for predictive modelling (highly desirable)
• Experience publishing in peer-reviewed journals or writing statistical analysis plans for regulatory submissions
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a contract-based environment
• Experience with regulatory guidelines (e.g., ICH E9 for clinical trials, CONSORT, STROBE, PRISMA for research reporting)

Additional considerations

• A strong publication track record in peer-reviewed medical or epidemiological journals
• Previous experience working on and applying for contract-based or consulting work
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Prior work in public health, pharma, biotech, or healthcare consulting

Contract & Compensation

• This is a contract-based position (not full-time employment)
• Work will be project-dependent, with flexible hours
• Compensation will be negotiated per project based on scope and complexity
