Landscape Maintenance Crew

Superb Group is a growing, team-oriented professional landscaping company servicing Commercial, Industrial and Multi-Residential buildings in Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge. We are looking for full time, permanent, landscape maintenance and snow removal (year round) crew members. At time, only those available full time, year round will be considered for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Play nice with others.
  • Follow instructions.
  • Use powered equipment.
  • Physical labour with some heavy lifting.
  • Play in the dirt removing weeds, cultivate, plant, mulch and maintain gardens.
  • Pick up and remove litter/debris from sites.
  • Sweep and wash parking lots/sidewalks.
  • Take care of the equipment and tools you use.
  • Take safety seriously at all times.
  • Fill out site reports of what you did, what time you did it and what the weather was like when you did it. You can do this on your phone (there’s an app for that) and, sometimes, you have to go old school and do these with a pen and paper.

Qualifications:

  • You get along with people and communicate well.
  • You have a positive attitude.
  • You show up to work on time and ready to go.
  • You get the job done, on time, the right way the first time.
  • You have some experience working with grass and plants.
  • You like to learn new things.
  • You know how to keep jobsite/vehicles/equipment clean and safe.
  • You like to show off what you've done.
  • You can use your smartphone to submit reports.
  • You can legally drive in Ontario (valid G drivers’ license). You are interested in upgrading your license because that means you could drive bigger machines.

Pay: Up to $55,000.00 per year (negotiable based on experience)

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Experience: Landscape maintenance: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (required)

Work Location: In person
