We are seeking a skilled Robotics Engineering Technologist passionate about automation and environmental sustainability. This critical role focuses on the development and maintenance of the robotics systems that drive our micro-factories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program and configure robots using ABB’s RobotStudio, and the RAPID programming language.
  • Conduct simulations and tests to ensure optimal operation of robotic systems.
  • Provide remote troubleshooting and real-time problem-solving to maintain continuous production.

Principales responsabilités:

  • Programmer et configurer des robots en utilisant RobotStudio d'ABB et le langage de programmation RAPID.
  • Effectuer des simulations et des tests pour garantir le fonctionnement optimal des systèmes robotiques.
  • Assurer le dépannage à distance et la résolution des problèmes en temps réel afin de maintenir une production continue.
  • Concevoir et améliorer les processus automatisés afin d'accroître l'efficacité et la durabilité.
  • Collaborer avec des équipes interfonctionnelles pour intégrer la robotique aux autres systèmes de l'usine.
  • Contribuer à la mise à l'échelle de la technologie robotique dans les sites nouveaux et existants.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in programming and maintaining industrial robots, with a strong emphasis on ABB robotics systems, and integration with programmable logic controllers and programmable safety systems
  • Proficient in RAPID programming language, and familiar with ABB’s RobotStudio software for simulation and testing.
  • Ability to design and run simulations to test and optimize robotic operations.
  • Experience with remote diagnostics and troubleshooting in a high-volume production environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • A passion for sustainability and technology's role in improving the environment.
